There are 4 easy tips to lose fat that many people don't know about.

The most important rule: Eat every 1 - 2 hours (a snack)

A lot of people think that you have to eat 3 healthy meals a day and watch what you eat in between.

That's not true. In order to lose weight efficiently you need to eat more often to lose weight, not less. We've all heard that when you starve yourself your body's "defense mechanism" kicks in and takes over. Certain hormones kick in to assist with the nutrition deficiency. So it's better to feed the body with proper nutrition.

When you eat good foods, you'll get good results. Drinking 6 to 8 glasses of water a day with consuming fruits (apples, grapes (red, dark), bananas and an occasional orange along with green vegetables, broccoli, and celery and more. When you eat good foods you will feel energized, up, regular, sleep better, etc.

1. STOP EATING ALL FRIED FOODS

You know that fried foods are bad for you. You should know by now that Trans fats and Saturated fats are bad for you and heart health. Fried foods contain the "bad fats". Any benefit from the meat or vegetable that is fried is extremely reduced.

2. QUIT DRINKING SODA AND SWEET DRINKS (and more water: 6-8 glasses a day)

There is no nutritional value in soda or soft drinks. They contain too much sugar, diet soda contain artificial sweeteners (aspartame) that are harmful to the body and digestive system.

3. QUIT EATING SWEETS AND CANY

Again, there is no nutritional value in cakes, pies, candy etc.

4. GET ALL THE BAD FOODS OUT OF THE HOUSE

To minimize the temptation, get all the bad foods out of the house. On those days when you seem to be cruising by the kitchen every 15 or 20 minutes to consume a snack or get something to eat, if you don't have the bad foods in the house then you can't eat them.

Carbohydrates are key to weight loss and energy. Listed below are some basic carbs to eat and stay away from.

Some good basic sources for carbs are:

Good carbs

Beans, legumes, Whole grain Cheerios, Fat Free pretzels, nuts (nuts are a complex carbohydrate), seeds, green vegetables, sweet potatoes, grains, fruits (apples, red grapes)

Bad Carbs

Fried food, sugars, syrups, fructose, added sugars to foods, refined grains, white grains, bagels, white bread, muffins, crackers, candies, white pasta

So eliminate the bad carbs and implement the good carbs to your diet if you want more energy and weight loss.
