It's a fact, green tea can help make your stomach flatter.
There's significant proof pointing to the health benefits of green tea and white tea. Antioxidants and polyphenols, cancer prevention compounds are found in highest levels in white tea, which is the least processed of all teas. They have a super antioxidant component that helps protect the body’s cells from free radicals. The role antioxidants play in weight loss is that they provide the body with the nutritional support which help keep your body strong and full of energy so you get the maximum workout which works hand in hand to help you get a flatter stomach.
Green tea and oolong tea contain substances called catechins and polyphenols, along with caffeine, and these substances work through several different mechanisms in our bodies to promote fat loss and help you lose the belly.
Although black tea (the normal type of tea used for iced tea and the most common tea sold) does contain caffeine and antioxidants, and may also help promote fat loss, there seem to be less studies relating black tea to fat loss and to get a flatter belly.
Another promising tea that I’ve seen referenced as potentially having some properties that promote fat loss is white tea. White tea is a little harder to find (but is becoming more popular), and including it in your tea blend may be beneficial.
In case you didn’t know… all four of these types of tea (black, white, oolong, and green)
come from the same plant, Camellia Sinensis. The difference is that the black and green
teas come from the leaves but black tea is fermented, while green is not.
White tea comes from the young buds of the plant instead of the full grown leaves. And oolong tea comes from the stems instead of the leaves.
Past studies have shown that green tea (and white tea) stimulates the immune system to fight disease. There's evidence that Green tea and White tea effects the metabolism which can potentially block some cancer-causing effects as well as a great way to lose belly fat
Try and drink 2-3 cups a day.
